Our Apex Fundraiser was a huge success! Thank you for your generosity. As you know, school funding is a hot topic around our district and across the state. We have never had fewer resources to run our school, so we truly appreciate your financial assistance. Thank you for supporting your local, neighborhood public school. 

 Round Rock ISD is now accepting applications for the districtwide Transportation Advocacy Group. The group will learn more about district processes, costs, challenges and opportunities. With 20 open slots, the district is seeking two elementary and two secondary members per vertical learning community. Apply today!

Come taste diverse cultural foods, watch performances from around the world, listen to music, and celebrate our beautiful FNE families at our December 10th Event: All Are Welcome! 

For this event to come together, we need YOU! Join us for a multicultural celebration where ALL ARE WELCOME!  Our FNE Eagles and community are invited to represent their family's culture, customs, and traditions by hosting a table featuring a sampling of traditional foods, cultural attire, and cultural artifacts. If you are interested in hosting a cultural table, please complete the form below by Friday Nov 6.

We hope many FNE families will participate in celebrating the cultures that make our school such a special place. 

Want to be featured in our library décor? Enter our 2026-27 Reading in the Wild Contest by submitting a unique picture of your child reading somewhere out in the world! Students might be photographed reading at a famous landmark, an iconic Austin site, or in their own backyard. In the photos, students should be reading a clearly visible book. The 10 winning images will be selected by a panel of FNE staff and enlarged for display in our Forest North Library during the school year.

Who: Any 2026-2027 FNE student (Only one entry per student, but students can team up for a joint entry).

When: Submissions accepted from NOW until Friday, October 28, 2026

Contest Rules:

-  The deadline to enter is 10/30/26.

-  Submit your entry using this link: Reading the Wild Submission Form

-  Photograph in the highest resolution your camera will allow, so that we may enlarge it to poster size.

-  We want authentic, natural photos – no Photoshop, please!

-  Your book should “match” the unusual reading spot, and the cover of your book should be visible in the photo.

School Meal Benefit Applications help Forest North qualify for important state and federal funding that supports student programs and resources such as our intervention and counseling staff. 

The number of qualifying students affect funding. By completing the application, eligible families help ensure our students receive the resources for which they qualify.

Unsure Whether You Qualify? Apply Anyway!

Eligibility is based on factors such as household size, income and participation in certain assistance programs.

Household circumstances can change during the year. Families may submit an application at any time, especially following a loss of employment, reduction in income or increase in household size.

Even if you’re unsure whether your family qualifies, it’s worth applying. Many families are surprised to learn they’re eligible, especially if household income or circumstances have changed.
