Spicewood Principal Newsletter

Hello Spicewood Families,

This past week certainly kept us on our toes with the icy streets and unexpected school closures. While the weather created some challenges, it also highlighted the incredible teamwork and dedication within our school community. We want to extend a sincere thank you to our custodial team and staff members who stepped in to help shovel and clear ice from our sidewalks so we could safely dismiss students on Wednesday. Their willingness to jump in and do whatever was needed made a huge difference. We would also like to give a special shoutout to one of our amazing Spicewood moms who spent a great deal of time scraping ice and even lent us a shovel to help with the effort. We are so grateful to be part of a community that supports one another, especially during unexpected moments like these.

Good luck to all of our students competing in the District UIL Academic Meet tomorrow!

Sincerely,

Melanie Solis
