The energy and excitement throughout the building are already palpable as we prepare for another year of learning, growth, and connection.

Important Update: 8-Period Day for the Upcoming School Year
Dear Ridgeview Families,
We hope you are enjoying a restful and safe summer. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we would like to inform you of an important change to our campus schedule that will affect students’ daily routines and course selections.
Starting this school year, our updated schedule will allow all students to take four elective classes instead of three. This change is part of our continued efforts to enrich student learning and provide more opportunities for exploration and engagement in a variety of electives.
Additionally, this adjustment allows us to better support students who are required to receive accelerated instruction under House Bill 1416 (HB 1416) and/or dyslexia intervention services. In the past, these support sessions replaced an elective course. With the new schedule, students will now receive required support by a highly qualified content area teacher while also still having access to elective options.
Last spring, counselors reached out to students and families to submit a fourth elective option. Counselors have these selections and are creating student schedules with these choices in mind.
This change reflects our district’s commitment to academic excellence, equity, and the well-being of our students. If you have questions about how this may specifically affect your child, please do not hesitate to reach out to our counseling team.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Warm regards,
Marisa Ramirez

Panther Welcome
Panther Welcome is Wednesday 8/6/25, from 5-7 pm. The event is come and go and it is a time to pick up your schedule of classes, meet and greet the Coaches, pick up pre-ordered athletic clothes, sign up for PTA, buy PTA spirit wear and tour the school.
Schedules will not be available until August 6th from 5pm-7pm at Panther Welcome. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate early pick up.
If you are unable to attend Panther Welcome, families will be able to access student schedules in HAC or can be picked up in the front office beginning August 7th.
To access HAC visit roundrock.org/HAC. If you do not have an account you can register and/or reset your password. Click here to access instructions on setting up HAC.
As we finalize student schedules for the upcoming school year, we want to share a few important updates. At this time, the only schedule changes that can be accommodated are those related to scheduling errors—for example, if a student has been assigned two core classes at the same time or is missing a lunch period.
Due to high enrollment, most elective courses are currently full. The only electives with remaining availability include Band, Orchestra, Dance, Wellness, Sports Fit Ed, Pre-Athletics, and Athletics.
If your student is interested in one of these open electives, please email both the grade-level Administrator and Counselor to request a change. Requests will be considered based on availability and in the order they are received.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to ensure a smooth start to the school year for all students.
Please note that there will not be a school supply drop off. Students can bring school supplies in at their leisure during the school day the first week of school. Students will need minimal supplies week one.
It is going to be an amazing year!
