Lessons: January’s focus is a school wide lesson about Culture - understanding our own and others’. Utilizing the habit of “Seek first to understand”, we can help develop our students’ skills of empathy, acceptance, and inclusion
Students should have brought home their “Culture Homework”. Please help your child complete their leaves to place on our Culture Tree. Tell us about your traditions, holidays celebrated, languages, religions, and any foods special to your culture or anything else you want to share.
Students may draw pictures or write and you may help them write! Please color neatly, cut out, and return by Jan. 23rd. Put your students’ name and teacher on the back please! We appreciate your support and look forward to learning about all the diverse cultures here at LOE! Here are some samples!
