Today we welcomed many of our students' grandparents and special adult friends at lunch. It was a joy to see families interacting and connecting with our school environment! Thanks to all the visitors who came to spend some time with us.
And big thanks for supporting our school's Apex Fundraiser this week! At Forest North, we insist on providing enriching, innovative, rigorous learning experiences for our students, even when state and local funding to public schools is limited. We need your help raising funds to make these experiences possible.
The Apex Fun Run is our one, main fundraiser of the year and we'll use the money raised to purchase books, materials and experiences that enrich our curriculum and get kids ready for the modern world. Technology devices, critical thinking games, digital learning tools, teacher resources and field trips are just part of what we'll use the funds for. Please share your child's Apex pledge page and consider making a donation.
The fundraiser ends next week with our FUN RUN on Friday. Please join us! We'd love to have you cheer your children on!
