Thank you for celebrating Healthy Lifestyles Week this week by participating in our theme days! The students had fun in hats, pajamas and costumes, and we all enjoyed learning more about health and wellness.

There is no school next Friday, November 7th as teachers participate in a day of professional learning. Student learning is directly impacted by teachers' continued learning, so we appreciate the time to strengthen our practice.

We are also expecting round #1 of a new furniture delivery next weekend! Forest North will be outfitted with new teacher and student desks and chairs, along with whiteboard easels and kidney tables in November. We are excited about this upgrade!

THIS SUNDAY Nov. 2, 1-3 pm, NASWC Neighborhood Clean Up
FNE PTA is excited to partner with the neighborhood association (NASWC) on a neighborhood cleanup event! Meet at the school and groups will split to clean up areas along Broadmeade, as well as around FNE. Wear gloves/protective clothing and bring your own water bottle (and tools if you have them). NASWC will provide trash bags and some water/snacks.

Monday, Nov. 10, 4-8pm, Forest North Friendsgiving at Phil's Icehouse and Amy's Ice Cream

Save the date - We're thankful for you! Let's join together for dinner and/or dessert to celebrate our amazing community. There's a playground out back so it will be a good time! Phil's/Amy's will donate a portion of the evening's proceeds to the PTA. Use code FOREST NORTH at the register or enter into the chef's notes for online orders.
