Hello Forest North! School Year 2025-26 is right around the corner! We are gearing up and excited about the upcoming year. If you are new to our community, WELCOME! We are so glad to have the opportunity to serve your family this year. Check this Forest North Newsletter each Friday for updates and announcements from school. Please know that we are open to feedback, suggestions and questions, so stop by or reach out if you need to.

We hope to see everyone at all our back-to-school events next month and, of course, for the first day of school. It will be here before you know it!

8/6/25 WELCOME WALKS

Please plan to be at your home on Wednesday evening, 8/6, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM as your child's homeroom teacher will stop by to introduce his or herself. This special Forest North tradition allows our staff to greet students and warmly welcome families to new a school year. (FYI: No homeroom teacher assignments will be shared prior to this event). Note: Our Kinder teacher team visits every kindergartener at home, so their Welcome Walks take place on 2 nights. See below.

8/8/25 SCHOOL SUPPLY DROP-OFF, 4:00-6:00pm

All are invited to school on Friday afternoon, 8/8, to see new classrooms, tour the school and reconnect with friends. Feel free to bring your child’s school supplies to drop off too, so there is less to carry on the first day of school. Click the picture button below for the 2025-26 School Supply lists by grade.

8/12/25 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

The first bell of the 2025-26 school year rings at 7:30am on Tuesday, 8/12! All students need to be in their rooms and ready to learn by 7:35. Parents are welcome to walk students to their rooms and take pictures on the first day. Our school doors open daily at 7:15am.

Parents and Guardians of currently enrolled Forest North students (returning students and students who were registered before June 1 only) should have received an email from RRISD that explains a Texas state requirement to update your child's annual forms for the new school year. The email includes a unique Snapcode and a link to login to update those forms. If you didn't receive it, check your email spam folder. Please click the link and update your child's forms as soon as possible. Please do not re-register your student. If you update your address, also email a copy of your new proof of residency (current utility bill, signed lease or mortgage statement with the guardian or the parent's name on it) to our Registrar/Attendance Specialist, Alondra Torres-Crocker, at alondra_torres-crocker@roundrockisd.org. Be sure to include your child's name in the email. Thank you for your help!
