Get ready to be inspired! Forest North Elementary is thrilled to host our first Visual Arts Showcase on Thursday, April 30th, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
This is a "come and go" open house celebrating the creativity of all Forest North students. We are proud to share all that we have done this year in Art. Stop by, walk the "gallery," and celebrate the incredible talent of our young artists. We can’t wait to see you there!

100 Books Challenge - PreK Party |
PreK has been working hard all year in class and in the library, and we have partnered with our families to log 100 books read together! Thanks for collaborating with us to accomplish this momentous goal. We'd like to invite families to join us in a reading celebration! Join us in the library on Monday, 5/11 2:00-2:30 to eat a cupcake, read a couple of our favorite stories, and celebrate all the reading we've done this year. We're ready for Kindergarten! |
Eagle Picnic - April 30th, 5:30 - 7:00
Bring your picnic blankets and dinner and join friends for a picnic on the front lawn! PTA will provide drinks and desserts. During that time, also go inside to check out the amazing artwork of our FNE students at the Visual Arts Showcase.

May 4, 6pm - PTA Brainstorming and Planning Meeting
We need a few willing volunteers to keep PTA running next year! If you want to have a school dance, movie night, popsicles on the playground, and game nights in 2027 then come join us for a planning & brainstorming session for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, May 4 at 6pm in the FNE Cafeteria. We're going to chat about PTA priorities and who can help make it happen.
This will serve as our end of the year PTA meeting. Please note: no childcare will be provided for this meeting.

National Bike & Roll to School Day is a fun celebration where students, families, school staff, and community members walk, bike, and roll to school together. This event empowers the community to use active transportation to get to school, encouraging physical and mental well-being and improving air quality along the way.
City of Austin employees will be handing out swag to FNE families who participate that morning. Join us for fresh air, exercise and community building!

Enrollment for School Year 2026-27 |
We are busy planning school year 2026-27! During this staffing/hiring season, it's crucial that we have accurate enrollment numbers for each grade. Please complete this 2026-27 Enrollment Form to let us know if your family will be returning to Forest North next year and to provide input about class placement.
We must have a form submitted for EACH and ALL STUDENTS (Grades EE - 4th) regardless of whether they will or will not return to Forest North next year.
If you have multiple students at FNE in grades EE-4th, please submit one form per student.
The form due date is May 1, 2026.
