Good morning, Coyotes!
We’ve had another really great week at Forest Creek! Our library and classrooms have been filled with STEAM activities and academic games, and students in grades 2–5 enjoyed a special author visit in the library. From building and creating to complex problem-solving, it’s been wonderful to see hands-on learning happening all across campus.
I truly value the balance of traditional instruction and non-traditional learning opportunities. Providing both keeps our students engaged and supports their growth in diverse, meaningful ways.
Behind the Scenes:
This week, our teams also engaged in vertical alignment conversations. Teachers across grade levels are working together to ensure skills are built intentionally from year to year. This "behind-the-scenes" collaboration is vital work that directly impacts the long-term success of our students.
Community Impact & Upcoming Events
We officially wrapped up our American Heart Association fundraiser and raised over $9,000! Thank you for your incredible generosity in supporting such a meaningful cause.
Next week, we are looking forward to our Talent Show on March 5th. It’s always one of the most fun nights of the year, and we can’t wait to see our Coyotes shine on stage!

DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know we will be doing another cafeteria reset after Spring Break?
We’ve worked hard to provide activities for students during lunch, so they have something to do after they finish eating. Let’s be honest, sitting for 30 minutes with nothing to do can make anyone restless. We want to continue offering these opportunities.
Unfortunately, game pieces have gone missing, cards have been damaged, and we’ve had to decrease the number of activities available. This reset will help us reestablish expectations so we can continue providing these options.
We would appreciate your support in talking with your student about why this reset is happening. Please reinforce our HOWL expectations and our Three Bs: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible, not just during lunch, but throughout the entire school day.
When we consistently practice these expectations, we strengthen positive behavior, maintain a strong school environment, and preserve the engaging opportunities we want to offer our students.
