Forest Creek Elementary - Round Rock ISD

Good evening, FCE!

It's been another wonderful week at school! Our CommUNITY Night was truly something special. Seeing our gym, cafeteria, and hallways filled with families, laughter, performances, and cultural showcases reminded me of how special and unique our community is.

Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff who worked behind the scenes to organize, set up, coordinate performances, and ensure the evening ran smoothly. Your time, creativity, and commitment to our students do not go unnoticed.

A special thank you to our PTA for your continued partnership and support. From helping coordinate to bringing engaging performances to our campus, you helped make the evening meaningful and memorable for our families.

We are also incredibly grateful to our teachers, staff, and community members who hosted booths to share their culture, background, experiences, and disabilities to help build awareness and understanding. Your willingness to educate and connect with our students strengthens our Coyote Family and helps us live out what belonging truly means.

Today, our classrooms were filled with joy during our Valentine’s celebrations. Thank you to our teachers for creating fun and inclusive celebrations for students and to our families who volunteered, donated items, and supported the festivities.

Moments like these remind us that Forest Creek is more than a school. It is a community where we honor one another, own our actions, work toward our best, and listen and learn from each other.

Thank you for being part of the Coyote Family.

Best,

Briana Flores

DID YOU KNOW?

We are incredibly proud of the progress our students and staff have made in our accountability ratings. Our goal is to return to being an A-rated campus, and we are just two points away from reaching that milestone. Together, we will continue pushing forward to ensure every student learns, grows, and thrives.

Safety & Arrival/Dismissal Reminders

School Zone Safety
Please slow down and follow posted speed limits during arrival and dismissal.

Car Rider Line

During afternoon dismissal, if you are waiting in the car rider line on Harvey Penick coming from Links Ln., please remember to stay as far left as possible on the road. This helps ensure that other vehicles are able to safely pass on the right side and keeps traffic flowing smoothly for our community.

Pull all the way forward in both the front and back loops to help us unload and load cars efficiently.

Crosswalks & Walking Students
Do not block crosswalks, and always follow staff and crossing guard directions. Students who walk or bike must wait for an adult before crossing.

Bus Safety
Never pass a school bus when the lights are flashing or the stop sign is extended.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Locations
Students may only be dropped off or picked up in the designated front or back loops. Please do not use side roads, the marquee area, or near portables.

Arrival Time
Instruction begins at 7:35 a.m. Please help your child arrive on time so they do not miss learning.

Early Pick-Up
All early checkouts must occur before 2:20 p.m. After this time, we are unable to accommodate early pick-ups due to dismissal procedures.

Dismissal Expectations
Please avoid cell phone use in the pick-up line, remain in your vehicle, do not skip lines, and help students buckle independently to keep traffic moving.

Visitor Procedures
All visitors must check in with a valid ID and wear a visitor badge. Please do not hold doors open for others.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep Forest Creek safe, efficient, and welcoming for all.
