England Exceptional Experiences (E^3)- Action Needed!
We are thrilled to kick off our second year (and third round) of England Exceptional Experiences (E^3)! Last year was a huge success, and we are excited to see this initiative continue to grow.
As a quick recap: staff, high school volunteers, and community members facilitate engaging sessions that give students opportunities to explore new interests and connect with peers and staff they may not usually interact with. For the fall session, we will have six Fridays (from 7:45-8:30) of E^3: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/14, and 11/21.
All students (K–5) received a catalogue with session descriptions (K–2 and 3–5 clustered together) and submitted their top three choices. Just like last year, we were able to place all 1,000 Leopards into one of their top picks! 🎉 A special shout-out to Mr. Rosenfeld (4th Grade Teacher), Erik Weiler (ITS), and Virginia Wilder (Assistant Principal) for dedicating so much time and heart to make this possible.
This is also a fantastic volunteer opportunity! We need support with helping students transition to their sessions and assisting facilitators who may need extra hands. (Though the application to lead a session has closed for fall, there will be another opportunity in the spring!)

IMPORTANT Update: What’s new this year?
Due to Texas Senate Bill 12, E^3 now falls under the category of a RRISD club. This means parents/caregivers must sign and return the permission slip that went home on Friday, 9/26. Signed slips are required by Thursday, 10/2 for students to participate in their selected session.
A few important reminders:
We cannot accommodate session changes. Part of the joy and purpose of E^3
is encouraging students to try something new. Last year, we had a positive response from students, including those who may have been a little unsure about their choices at first. In addition, countless hours went into designing these sessions—carefully balancing survey results, student interests, grade-level groupings, and staff support to ensure that every Leopard has a meaningful experience.
Students will have another opportunity in the spring to try a different experience.
Students who do not submit a signed permission slip by Thursday, 10/2, will not be able to participate in E^3 . Instead, they will be assigned to a designated location where they can work on other assignments during that time, in order to remain in compliance with updated state laws.
We can’t wait to get started and to see our Leopards engaged, connecting, and having fun! For questions, please reach out to virginia_wilder@roundrockisd.org.
💛💙 This is another area where your donations to our England Excellence Direct Donation Drive make a difference—your support funds the materials and supplies needed for these sessions!
