Elsa England Elementary - Round Rock ISD

Dear England Families,

Wow, what a successful first week of school!
Our Leopards were engaged, participating in community-building activities, and smiling all around. No doubt we have a wonderful school year ahead of us! Please read to the end for important updates and reminders.

PTA Appreciation 💙

We can’t thank our PTA enough for all the support shown already this school year! They’ve provided:

  • A Coffee Truck for staff

  • Breakfast during a long (but meaningful!) day of PD

  • A beautiful welcome sign on the front lawn on the first day of school 🎉

  • Popsicles after our first day dismissal (when staff were out in the Texas heat supporting what we know is always a long process on day one!)

  • School supply classroom delivery

  • Spirit Wear and Info Booth at Back to School Night

  • Coordination of a classroom app for families to connect (Note: EEE staff do not monitor or participate. This is just for families to communicate!)

And they’re already planning more upcoming events! We are so grateful for their partnership.

Arrival Reminders:

To keep our Leopards safe and traffic flowing smoothly:

  • Please keep students in the car all the way to the front of the school. Do not drop them at the road as it is unsafe.

  • Pull all the way forward. Our line can affect nearby crosswalks, so this helps with both safety and efficiency.

  • Use the car line as a continuously moving line beginning at 7:10 a.m.

  • If your child needs staff assistance to exit or you prefer to wait until 7:15 for staff presence, please pull forward beyond the cones.

  • Drivers and passengers must remain in vehicles at all times.

  • Watch our Arrival Video to see our process in action.

Dismissal Reminders:

Thank you for your patience as we’ve taught routines to hundreds of Leopards!

  • Pull your car to your child’s cone. Please don’t call them to your location.

  • Drivers/passengers must remain in the vehicle. If you need to buckle your child, pull forward to the Assistance Needed Zone.

  • Placards must be clearly displayed.

  • PreK–1st grade pick up in the back (older siblings join them).

  • 2nd–5th grade pick up in the front.

  • Please watch our Dismissal Video for details.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to improve!
