Elsa England Elementary - Round Rock ISD

3/29/2026

Dear England Families,

It was wonderful to see all of our smiling Leopard faces return from Spring Break last week! Students jumped right back into learning and engagement, and we are excited to finish the school year with lots of opportunities for critical thinking, collaboration, and fun.

Last week was full with our EEE Site-Based Committee Meeting, Trivia Night, and, by the time this email goes out, our PTA-sponsored Carnival. So many moments of connection that extend beyond the classroom. That connection continues this week with our March Coffee with the Principal tomorrow (3/30), Early Learning Day on Tuesday (3/31), and Field Day on Thursday (4/2). We are so thankful for everyone who partners with us to help provide the best educational experience possible for our Leopards.

We have also had the opportunity to welcome several new families this semester. On behalf of our England community, we are so glad you are here!

Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and presence in our school community. Together, we are making this a memorable and meaningful year for our Leopards.

In partnership,

Krystall Williams, Principal

PTA Corner

A huge thank you to our PTA for hosting our first ever Math Kangaroo! It was a wonderful experience, and our students truly enjoyed the opportunity.

They have also put a tremendous amount of work into expanding our Spring Picnic into a Spring Carnival. We hope this is an event that continues to grow each year, and we are so grateful to our PTA for creating these meaningful opportunities for our students and families.

Lunch with Leopards🐆💛

We love having community volunteers in our cafeteria, and our Leopards love it even more. Smiles, high-fives, and friendly faces truly make lunchtime extra special...and it’s such a meaningful way to help our students feel seen, supported, and connected.

If you’re available to help during lunch, we would be so glad to have you join us for the rest of January. Even one shift makes a big difference and helps build that sense of belonging for our Leopards

Honor your child’s birthday by donating a book to the Elsa England Library. Participating students will select their Birthday Book from our library collection for a donation cost of $20.00. This fundraiser helps support library programs and purchasing new books for our collection. Birthday Book Club Registration for this school year will close on Friday, April 3rd! Please consider registering your child before that date, no matter when their birthday falls!

We hope you'll consider opportunities to take a photo of your child reading in an unusual location and enter our England Library's 14th Annual Unusual Reading Spot Photo Contest!

If you're interested in participating, please read closely through the contest rules and entry requirements, including reading a book "matching" the unusual location, photo quality specifications, and ensuring the book cover and the child's face are both visible in the photo. Check out the past 13 years' contest winners on the library website!

We're excited to see this year's entries! The contest ends on Friday, April 10, 2026 and winners will be announced by mid-May.

Leopard Pride!

Rudra S., 4th grade, participated in the Chess Tournament organized by Round Rock ISD on March 28th and secured 4th place in his group!

We are proud to celebrate one of our 4th grade Leopards, Sai K. S., for an outstanding accomplishment in chess. He recently competed in the Super State Chess Championship, a highly competitive tournament held every three years, and earned an impressive second place finish out of 189 participants. This achievement reflects his dedication, perseverance, and passion, and we are so proud to have him represent our England community!
