12/14/2025
Dear England Families,
And just like that, we’re down to our final four days of the 2025 semester! 🐆 What an incredible semester it has been at England. We’re excited to finish strong, celebrate our learning, and head into the break feeling recharged and refreshed as we look ahead to the 2026 semester.
Last week was a wonderful reflection of what makes our school community so special. Our 3rd through 5th grade students enjoyed an inspiring author visit with John Schu. A huge thank you to our PTA for sponsoring this experience and to our fabulous Library Department for bringing it all together.
Our choir also shined with a beautiful winter performance and then took their talents to the ice by performing the National Anthem at the Stars hockey game. Thank you to Mrs. Paz and Mr. Rodriguez, our incredible music teachers, for making these moments possible. And to all the families who joined us at the game, thank you for coming out to support. What a fun night and how amazing was the teddy bear toss after the first Stars goal?!
We also had an incredible 5th grade Science Fair coordinated by Mr. Grigsby. I had the honor of serving as a judge alongside other staff members, district leadership, and community members. Our Leopards were so knowledgeable and passionate about science, and it was clear how much pride they took in their work. Experiences like this help build curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
All of this happened while meaningful learning and student engagement continued across classrooms, which makes us even more proud. This is the heart of our England community with learning, joy, and connection all happening at once.
Please be sure to read all the way to the end. There is a lot happening during our final week, and we want to make sure you are fully in the loop as we wrap things up together.
In partnership,
Krystall Williams, Principal

EEE Updates and Reminders:
Morning Arrival, Tardies, and Attendance Reminder
Thank you for your continued support with our morning arrival procedures. We are already seeing a significant decrease in tardies—from 102 on Monday to just 40 on Friday (and those arrivals were after the car line had already cleared). We truly appreciate your partnership in helping our mornings run more smoothly.
As a reminder, please keep the following in mind during morning drop-off:
* Pull all the way forward in the car line without leaving gaps
* Do not drop students off on the side of the road or in the parking lot
* Do not park and walk your child up to the building
* For walkers, please use the sidewalks on the left or right side of the building only to avoid crossing through traffic and slowing the flow
* Have students ready with belongings and able to exit the car independently
* Arrive before 7:30 a.m. whenever possible
Thank you again for helping us keep our Leopards safe and on time each morning!
Our attendance average for the week was 94.7%. Our campus goal is 96%, so let’s continue working together to get that number up as we head into the final days of the semester.
A big shout-out to 4th grade for leading the way with an outstanding 97.14% attendance last week—way to go!
Even in this final stretch of the semester, meaningful learning is still happening each day, and we want to ensure all of our Leopards are here to engage, connect, and finish strong together. Thank you for your continued partnership in making attendance a priority.
Lost and Found
If your child has been missing any items, our lost and found has been relocated to the front porch for easy family access. These items will remain available through our winter parties and then will be packed up for donation. A big thank you to our volunteers who helped move everything so families can easily check for their students’ belongings.
December Dates:
12/15: 5th Grade Field Trip to Inner Space Caverns
12/18: Winter Parties
Please check our school website calendar for events. We try to post well in advance to help you plan.

PTA Corner
A huge thank you to our PTA for sponsoring our school-wide assembly presented by Carolyn Brown, Hey Dude, Nice Shoes! This impactful program focused on anti-bullying and pro-kindness and shared meaningful messages with our students.
Thank you as well to the families who attended the evening parent workshop—we know that was time out of an already busy week, and we truly appreciate your commitment to partnering with us.
We are incredibly grateful to our PTA for continuing to bring programs to our campus that support social-emotional learning and help our Leopards grow both academically and socially.
Great news- Upcoming Event:
Our PTA is already planning our Meet Your Neighbor Night. This is one of our most well-attended events and a wonderful way to connect with other England families and neighbors. Please see the flyer below for all the details!
Winter Parties
We are looking forward to our Winter Parties on Thursday, December 18th, and can’t wait to celebrate with our students! To help ensure a safe, smooth, and joyful day for everyone, please review the important information below.
Guest Guidelines:
Due to space limitations, no more than TWO guests per student are permitted.
Younger siblings are not allowed to attend classroom parties.
Students may not be pulled from class to attend a party at another grade level.
All guests must present a valid photo ID to enter the building — even if you are already preregistered.
*There will be no exceptions, as student safety is our top priority.
RSVP
We are asking that all attendees (both visitors and volunteers) RSVP. Winter parties are heavily attended, and we have intentionally scheduled parties far enough apart to support smooth check-in.
RSVPing helps IMMENSELY.
Guests who have previously scanned their ID through our Raptor system may be eligible for a pre-printed badge.
If you have never scanned your ID, you will need to complete that process on party day or come in during one of the designated Fast Pass times.
NEW This Year: FAST PASS Option
To help reduce wait times, we are trying something new this year!
If you RSVP by tonight (12/14), you may pick up your badge early:
Tuesday: 8:30–10:00 AM
Wednesday: 12:30–2:00 PM
Fast Pass Important Information:
Please be sure the legal name used for your RSVP matches your ID
You must bring your ID to pick up your Fast Pass (aka visitor or volunteer badge).
You must bring your ID again on party day (Thursday), even if you have your Fast Pass (pre-printed badge)
On party day, Fast Pass guests will check in at a designated Fast Pass area, confirm that ID matches, and head to the party at the designated start time
**This is our first year trying this process, so we appreciate your patience if there are small bumps along the way. We’ll be taking notes to fine-tune it for future events.
