A Big Thank You to PTA
Last Friday, our wonderful PTA treated our teachers to Jason’s Deli lunch! It was the perfect way to wrap up our first week. Thank you, PTA, for organizing our Friday lunch —we truly appreciate your support!

Safety First
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Throughout the year, we will conduct various safety drills so students and staff know what to do in an emergency. This week, we completed our first evacuation drill, and our students did an amazing job!

The purpose of these drills is to practice exiting the building quickly, quietly, and safely. Teachers review the nearest exit with their classes at the start of the school year and discuss expectations for behavior during a drill.

CANYON CREEK NICKNAME PERMISSION FORM

It is with grand excitement that we celebrate distribution of our brand new Chromebooks to all 2nd-5th graders! We dicussed both care of the device and our expectations when using them in our AUP lesson. Families in 4th and 5th grade should set up routines and plans at home for where they will be charged and kept on days they go home as well as expectations for use outside of school. Make a routine to ALWAYS remember to bring it to school charged!

5th graders interested in applying for the Comet Chrome Crew to assist Mrs. Connair with tasks on campus have an application in their email and it is due by Friday, April 29.She will be looking for 1 representative from each class.
