Dear Canyon Creek Families,
We hope you had a wonderful and restful Spring Break! It has been great welcoming our students and staff back and hearing about all the adventures from the break.
We jumped right into a busy and exciting week with multiple field trips, STEAM Night, Book Fair pack-up, and Watch D.O.G.S. on campus. A BIG thank you to our CCE PTA for the Sonic Happy Hour on Thursday—it was such a thoughtful mid-day treat, and we truly appreciate your support!
Next week will be our final four-day week of the school year. We hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at CCE on Monday for more engaging learning.
Happy weekend! CCE Team

Science, robots, and art—oh my! 🧪🎨 Our STEAM Night was an incredible success! It was wonderful to see so many families exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities. Our students’ curiosity was truly inspiring.
We want to give a special shout-out to the students and teachers from Westwood High School and Grisham Middle School who joined us to lead activities and inspire our future innovators. Your leadership and expertise helped make the night unforgettable for our elementary learners. We love seeing our older students give back to the community! Thank you for making learning so much fun!

Learning.com Keyboarding Challenge 2026 Ends March 31st!
The online STAAR tests require typing skills as early as 3rd grade. In testing, the stronger a student's keyboarding skills, the more time they can devote to improving the quality of the their response! Our campus is registered to participate and all 3rd-5th student accounts have been loaded. Teachers can decide to have it as an activity during class or students can work on it on their own. The contest evaluates the number of 3rd-5th grade students, words per minute, and accuracy during the window from Feb 10-March 31!
Last year we were Texas top finishers!!! This year the info came to me late so we are a little behind, but I it will be great to see those minutes, accuracy, and speed ramping up!
STUDENTS: -Log into Classlink, select the Learning.com icon. -Once in Learning.com, log in with student ID/"s number" as your username and your student ID WITHOUT THE "S" as your password -Example: Username: s123456 Password: 123456
Once you are logged in, make your way to the button that say "ARCADE" You can always still work on class assigned lessons but the contest will be looking at this activity first!
