March 13, 2026 Dear Canyon Creek Families,
It’s hard to believe Spring Break is already here! Canyon Creek had a busy and exciting week with our Spring Book Fair and a wonderful 2nd Grade Fine Arts Night. Our 2nd graders did an incredible job preparing for their performance in music and creating beautiful artwork to display for our families and school community. We hope you were able to enjoy the show and stop by the Book Fair to pick out a great new read.
We wish all of our Canyon Creek families a wonderful, restful Spring Break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in a week as we begin the final stretch of the school year. Buckle up—once we return, the remainder of the year will fly by! Have a fantastic break!

Learning.com Keyboarding Challenge 2026 has begun!!!
The online STAAR tests require typing skills as early as 3rd grade. In testing, the stronger a student's keyboarding skills, the more time they can devote to improving the quality of the their response! Our campus is registered to participate and all 3rd-5th student accounts have been loaded. Teachers can decide to have it as an activity during class or students can work on it on their own. The contest evaluates the number of 3rd-5th grade students, words per minute, and accuracy during the window from Feb 10-March 31!
Last year we were Texas top finishers!!! This year the info came to me late so we are a little behind, but I it will be great to see those minutes, accuracy, and speed ramping up!
STUDENTS: -Log into Classlink, select the Learning.com icon. -Once in Learning.com, log in with student ID/"s number" as your username and your student ID WITHOUT THE "S" as your password -Example: Username: s123456 Password: 123456
Once you are logged in, make your way to the button that say "ARCADE" You can always still work on class assigned lessons but the contest will be looking at this activity first! |
