December 5, 2025
Dear CCE Families,
We are so happy to be back at CCE and hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Fall and Thanksgiving break. We are officially in full swing of the holiday season—happy December!
Our 4th grade students did an outstanding job at this year’s Coffee House Poetry event. This long-standing CCE tradition continues to shine thanks to the hard work of our teachers and the incredible support from our parents. Thank you for joining us, “snapping” on our students, and helping make the day so special.
We also hope to see you at the CCE PTA Fun Run this afternoon! As always, thank you for your continued support. We hope you have a great weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
Warmly, The CCE Team

A Note From RRISD Food Services |
Dear Canyon Creek Families,
We sincerely apologize to our families for the difficulties encountered during this year’s Thanksgiving Lunch. We understand how much this tradition means to the Canyon Creek campus community and sincerely regret not meeting expectations. This is certainly not the standard we aim for. We’re taking immediate steps by reviewing our planning, training, and staffing to make sure this doesn’t happen again at any future events.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make things right. Our goal is always to deliver a welcoming, reliable dining experience for every student and family we serve.
Sincerely,
Stacey Widdecombe, RRISD Food Service Director

We try our best to have students complete this requirement at school, however sometimes we might need your support for completion. See below for more information on how to view your student’s progress and how to support them if they need to complete the 2 lessons passing and 45 minutes at home.

A bin will be located near the school's front office until December 18th. All gifts will go to families facing hard times this holiday season, in the hopes of making their spirits bright.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE ATTACH A STICKY NOTE TO YOUR TOY DONATION WITH YOUR TEACHER’S NAME FOR A CCE CLASSROOM COMPETITION. The class with the most toy donations will receive an ice cream party in January!!
Monetary donations to Brown Santa are also appreciated via Venmo (@TCBrownSanta). Please mention CCE in the comments and send a screenshot of your donation to ccebrownsanta@gmail.com.
