Dear Canyon Creek Families,
We had a wonderful week at CCE! Our 5th graders enjoyed an exciting field trip to Pioneer Farms, our amazing volunteers worked hard setting up the Book Fair, and after-school UIL practices are now underway for all sponsored events.
A huge thank you to our PTA and all of today’s hostesses for the incredible Thanksgiving Lunch you provided for our staff. The meal was absolutely beautiful and delicious—we truly appreciate your time, effort, and generosity. Thank you for making it so special!
We hope you enjoy the three-day weekend and the beautiful weather ahead!

Did you miss Picture Day or want a do-over? No problem! Come ready with your best smile and get your picture taken on Tuesday, November 11.
If your student is doing a retake, please remember to bring back their original photo package to return to the photographer.

Annual Thanksgiving Lunch |

We hope to see you on Wednesday, November 19th for our Thanksgiving Feast!
Students will eat during their regular lunch time. If you plan to eat, please be sure to bring cash to pay for your meal. The meal price is $5.00 for all visitors (Exact dollar amount is greatly appreciated).
Also, don’t forget to bring your photo ID to assist in signing in at the office. If you have visited campus prior to this day, we will have your badge pre-printed.
If you did not RSVP for the Feast but want to attend, you are welcome to bring a sack lunch and join us for lunch! |

When submitting your RSVP to volunteer for school events—such as field trips, classroom celebrations, or special events (coffee chats,etc) —please make sure to enter your name as it appears on your legal form of identification (driver's license, passport). This helps us speed up the check-in and approval process. Thanks for your support! |
When visiting our school—whether you're picking up a student, meeting with a teacher, joining your child for lunch—please make sure to bring a physical ID with you. Photos of your ID on your phone won’t be accepted. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe! |

STEAM Night:
If you work for or have connections with a business that would be potentially be interested in participating in our STEAM Night on 1/27/26 from 5-6:15pm at CCE, please reach out to Karen_Connair@roundrockisd.org. It could be sponsoring materials for groups/classes to use or could be a hands on rotation that families visit and learn. **This is not a business fair to sell or simply market materials and no participant information may be collected (aka sign-up sheets)
GoGuardian:
If you are a 4th or 5th grade parent or with MS or HS kids that bring home Chromebooks, you have the ability to manage Chromebook controls at home with the GoGuardian Parent App. If you did not make it to our Coffee Chat, please see this slide with links on information on how to get started!

iReady Important Information |
Kinder-2nd students are required to complete 2 lessons at a passing rate and complete 30 minutes of iReady Math.
3rd-5th students are required to complete 2 lessons at a passing rate and complete 45 minutes of both iReady Math and iReady Reading.
We try our best to have students complete this requirement at school, however sometimes we might need your support for completion. See below for more information on how to view your student’s progress and how to support them if they need to complete the 2 lessons passing and 45 minutes at home.

The holiday season is a time for giving, and our local food pantry needs your help to support local families in need.
All donations will go to the Round Rock Area Serving Center Food Pantry, which provides groceries to families right here in our community.
You can send your food donations to school with your child during our holiday food drive, Nov 3-14.
Look for the collection barrel in the front office - we'd love to see it filled to the top with your generous donations! Every item helps!
Some great things to donate include:
- Canned Vegetables, fruits & soups
- Rice, pasta, & boxed meals
- Peanut Butter, jelly & cereal
- Canned meats & beans
