We loved seeing so many of you at our Wildcat DADS (Dads of Awesome Daughters and Sons) Kick-Off this morning with donuts! It was such a great way to start the day, and we’re excited to keep growing this program. If you didn’t get a chance to join us today, we hope you’ll jump in and get involved here on the Prairie throughout the year.
Coming up in October, we’ll have Parent Teacher Conferences. Keep an eye out for sign-up information from your child’s teacher soon, this is such a great time to connect and talk about your child’s progress.
This week we learned about Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood. At home, this looks like really listening before responding. Try it out with your child, whether it’s when they’re sharing about their day or solving a disagreement with a sibling. A little listening goes a long way!
And just a quick reminder: No school for students on Monday and Tuesday. Our teachers and staff will be busy with professional learning so we can keep growing right alongside our Wildcats.
As always, stay safe and take care out on the Prairie!
