Hello, Blackland Prairie Families,
This week, our school-wide focus was Habit 6: Synergize. Synergy is the "together is better" habit. It's the idea that when two or more people work together to create a solution, it is often much better than what either could have thought of alone. Family Collaboration: Try a "synergy" project this weekend, like cooking a meal together or organizing a room. Talk about how much faster and better the job gets done when everyone contributes their unique strengths! Creative Problem Solving: When a disagreement arises, ask, "What is a third way we haven't thought of yet?" to find a solution that works for everyone.
We had an absolute blast at our Habit Rally today, led by our incredible 3rd Graders! They did a fantastic job teaching the entire school about Habit 4: Think Win-Win, reminding us that we can all be successful together. The energy was electric, and the 3rd Graders truly brought the thunder; they officially won the Spirit Stick for showing the most school spirit! Congratulations to our 3rd-grade leaders for setting such a great example.
Tomorrow is a big day for our UIL Teams! These students have shown incredible commitment, practicing after school to sharpen their skills. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication. Now is your time to shine! We are cheering you on and looking forward to seeing you bring home 1st place once again. Go Wildcats!
Next Wednesday, we celebrate our wonderful school counselor, Mrs. Kahle! She does so much to support our students' hearts and minds, and we want to show her how much she is appreciated. To honor her, we invite all students to dress in their "Warm and Fuzzy" attire (think cozy sweaters, fleece, or fuzzy socks) to represent the "warm and fuzzies" Mrs. Kahle gives our school community every day!
As always, stay safe and take care out on the Prairie!
